| Can I get videos for
my mobile? |
HotVid offers videos
for almost every type of phone including Video phones; Nokia Symbian;
and most colour JAVA phones. Downloading is possible over GSM or
GPRS networks. Simply click the link for the file you want to download
and wait patiently. Big files can take 3 - 4 min's, do not be tempted
to click the link again or the download starts again from the beginning.

a pre-pay account? |
You can access the full
set of videos on pre-pay and contract accounts over every type of
network including GSM, GPRS, and 3G. Make sure you use the test
videos and buy the correct videos for your phone and network. All
the instructions you need are in the player and on the wap site.

| How long will the download
take? |
The time taken to download
a video will depend on your network - download on average will take
approx 60 secs but large files can take 2-3 mins. 3G files are the
biggest and can take a long time. Do not be tempted to click the
link again or the download starts again from the beginning. Normal
wap and data charges will apply, please check with your Operator. |
| Why do I get 'file size
too big' errors? |
The size of file you
are able to download depends on the network and operator you use.
Generally, files smaller than 220Kb will be ok but you should download
the test files before you pay. If you are able to download the test
videos you will be able to download most of the videos in the HotVid.net
wap site and video player. |
| What are the GPRS settings
for my network ? |
The standard GPRS settings
are listed on your operators web site. |
| How much does it cost? |
The cost to access the HotVid content
is clearly displayed on the site - the test files and samples are
provided by us free of charge, however normal wap and data costs
always apply in addition to the cost to access the videos. |

There are currently
